Spectrah, founded in May of 1998, is a professional panel display product maker whose mission is to be the leading provider of flat panel display solutions to the industrial and consumer markets. Once senior R&D engineers of LCD monitor and industrial PC manufacturers, Spectrah's founders have an average of ten years experience in designing flat panel display products. Spectrah's products target the advanced display market in industrial, banking, and medical equipment. Customers include Barco Display, Honeywell, Siemens, Toyo, etc. and products have been applied in Toshiba Ultra Sound machine, industrial automation systems in motor makers like DaimlerChrysler, BMW, and GM.
In July of 1998, Spectrah announced its first digital VGA product LD-S500 with Silicon Image PanelLink interface. In the end of year 1998, Spectrah introduced next high-end digital VGA product LD-T972, driving panel resolutions up to SXGA. These two products adhere to early VESA DFP standards, containing a 20-pin MDR connector to support various digital LCD monitors. In the early of 1999, Spectrah released its first digital receiver product LDR151 to support digital LCD monitors. In 2000, following VESA Digital Visual Interface (DVI) standard, Spectrah developed new DVI (Digital Visual Interface) interface products LD-S372 and LD-S272 which provided complete digital display solutions for customers. In 2001, Spectrah released its first dual AD/DD converter board ARV-400 for LCD panel display markets. ARV-400/460 series provided high quality scaling feature, A to D, and D to D converter solutions for industrial panel display applications. In 2002, Spectrah started to distribute CMO and IDTech LCD panel products, working together with its own VGA, AD, DD products. In 2003, after ARV-400, Spectrah released a series of AD/DD converter products such as ARV-300, ARV-350, and ARV-100. Then, in 2004, Spectrah increased its product lines and provided system integration products to customers like industrial LCD monitor, and multimedia display products.
